Put together the powerful, strident sounds of a brass band with the smooth stirring sounds of 100 string players – add the sweet singing voices of 60 young singers and you have 200 musicians on Ayr Town Hall stage bringing together the music for this year’s Two’s Company!
The Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra and Dalmellington Band will be joined by the choirs of Heathfield and Glenburn Primary School for the annual Two’s Company concert in Ayr Town Hall on Saturday 3rd November at 7.30pm. As the Fiddle Orchestra work hard on their fund raising efforts for next year’s fantastic Concert Tour to Japan – The Rising Sun Tour – this concert is one of the highlights of their musical year with the theme from Born Free, Dark Island and Amazing Grace and a fantastic arrangement of the Proclaimers great hit I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) just some of the music to be featured.
