One of the orchestra’s largest and favourite concerts of the year is the Two’s Company concert in the Ayr Town Hall. It is around the same weekend every year and the place is always very busy as we manage to pack the stage with 4 different groups.
The Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra also shared the stage with the newly renamed Doon Valley Brass Band, which features players of various ages who study and work in various fields across the south west of Scotland.
This year also saw the return on local primary schools Heathfield and Glenburn with their great choirs singing a beautiful selection of songs.
The end of the concert brought everyone on stage together to play the Skye Boat song, along with some audience participation.
It was a great evening of music and I hope you enjoyed all of the different types of music that was performed.
