A big thanks, and also congratulations, to everyone who took part today. Despite the rain, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and we have all done a great job in raising a lot of money for a fantastic cause.
A special thanks to Douglas Clark, Kenneth and Lorraine McAlpine, Valerie and Ian Jamieson and Kristy and Fiona Ireland, along with all of the other adults who helped out throughout today and in the run up to today, without whose help the day would not have been possible. Also thanks to Ron Beretti for allowing us the use of his fantastic garden for our somewhat chilly BBQ.
……also a big thanks to Euan Terras for his late afternoon rescue of my broken bike and I……..we almost made it….and to Ken Yip for his search for those in need of some motivation on their way through Prestwick!
I hope everyone has now managed to warm up again and dry off and hopefully the legs won’t be too sore tomorrow morning!
