A group of senior players from the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra (AFO) were privileged to have been invited down to Westminster last week to entertain at the House of Commons Burns Supper, organised by local MP, Dr Philippa Whitford, and also to perform at the Scotland Office Burns Supper, hosted by Scottish Secretary David Mundell, thanks to local MP, Bill Grant.
The players also enjoyed a tour round the Palace of Westminster and were able to attend Scottish Questions and Prime Minister’s Questions, during their visit.
