Ariccia 2018 – Attention AFO former players!
The Prestwick Town Twinning Association are organising a trip to Ariccia this year 3rd-7th April 2018 and are looking for musicians to join the group.
The AFO are committed this year to a trip to Barcelona so as an orchestra we are unable to put together an official AFO trip however we thought as you have been to Ariccia it might be a trip you might like to join and rekindle the friendships made when you were last there!
You would organise your own transport to Ariccia, many of the Town Twinning group travel Ryanair from Prestwick, and accommodation with host families would be organised by Nicole Michelsen of the Ariccia Town Twinning Group. The only difficulty using Ryanair is the transporting of your instrument but Nicole has offered to source instruments once she knows who is coming. As far as we are aware the musical input would be music provided for a ceilidh at a social night during the stay.
If you can please give this opportunity some thought and chat amongst your AFO former friends as our Ariccia friends would enjoy seeing you again – there are approximately 20 spaces available!
