In our efforts to bridge the remaining budget gap for The Rising Sun Tour our final fundraising event was abseiling down the exciting 150 foot high sandstone cliff at Mauchline Gorge beside the Ballochmyle Viaduct, the highest viaduct in the UK and the largest single span masonry arch in the world!
Once again Adventure Centre for Education, based in Girvan (and the company who successfully ran our previous Abseil at Burns House in 2014), were the masterminds behind the event.
