A huge thank you from all of us in the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra for coming along to spend time with us at our much anticipated Christmas Fayre in the Ayr Town Hall.
Our Christmas Concert!
We are beyond excited to announce our annual Christmas concert which will be at the Ayr Town Hall on Saturday the 14th of December, starting at 7.30pm.
Christmas Fayre – 30th November 10am – 2pm.
We would be delighted to see as many of you down at the Ayr Town Hall from 10am – 2pm this coming 30th of November! There is no better way to start off your Christmas season with some brilliant fiddle music and some perusing our fun stalls. We have plenty to offer such as homemade baking, wonderful crafts, Christmas gifts, bottle stalls, and tombolas. Bring your friends and family to potter around the tables, try your luck with some of our games and put your feet up and enjoy a nice cup of tea, home baking or even some soup. All the efforts and funds raised go towards keeping our fantastic organisation entertaining Ayrshire and beyond, which we are. as always, so very grateful for. This event is ideal to bring your family and friends, plus it’s a good way to start ticking off that to-do list for Christmas! And I hope you have been very good this year as Santa will be there tapping his feet to our tunes. We look forward to seeing you...Last Performances: Kendo and Kunitachi.
Today was a very exciting yet emotional day. Today would be two performances at two different venues and also our last time playing together as this touring orchestra.
Fuji-Q: Fast and Furious.
It was a very early morning of a 7.am breakfast but nobody seemed to care because today was the much awaited day in any tour calendar- the theme park today and this tour it was to Fuji-Q Highland.
Day 10: Samurai, Shinkansen and Steak
It was a very sleepy start this morning as we were all packed and out of the hotel at 9.am – and we met our lovely Kyoto guides Keiko and Yuiko for the last time.
Day 9: Hiroshima
And here we are, arguably this tours ‘BIG DAY’ and it lived up to be so in so many ways for the orchestra.
Day 8: Castle, Culture Centre, Cranes.
This morning we had the chance to visit Nijo Castle, which is very different from any castle we would see at home.
Kyoto: Bullet Trains, Bento Boxes, and Buddhism.
Today we checked out of our hotel and travelled to Kyoto
