Canada 2001 Tour
Live Vancouver Island Concert

Recorded live at their concert in The University of Victoria Auditorium On Tuesday 10th July 2001

On the 3Oth June 2001, 92 members of the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra flew from Glasgow to start their 9th International Tour visiting Western Canada and America. The first stop was Banff then to Calgary, Victoria on Vancouver Island, Bend in Oregon and finally to San Francisco. At the second concert at Victoria, in the magnificent surroundings and acoustics of the University of Victoria Auditorium, a recording was made and as a result this CD has been produced, thankfully without the verbal diatribe of the musical director.

The performance captures the energetic and enthusiastic playing of the Orchestra and will bring back happy memories of a memorable Tour.
